Feeling a little bloated post-Christmas? Me too. I ate pretty well, overall, but all that festivity and association with relatives makes me retain water.
Still, I weighed in this morning. I hope you did, too. If not, do it in the morning and get back here and post your weight (please).
Did you eat 5 pounds of peanut brittle yesterday? Two quarts of eggnog? All the hard candy that was stuck to the bottom of your kids' Christmas stockings (from last year)? Oh well. Weigh in anyway. Think of the number on the scale as a reference point, rather than a manifestation of your character and worth.
And by all means, please don't through in the proverbial towel and decide to "start over in January." That's baloney/bologna. Start now and avoid the January 1st here-we-go-again dieting fiasco with everyone else in the USA (and Canada).
Also...Merry Christmas! I hope you had a lovely holiday.

That's up 1/2 pound from last week.
I'm OK with it.
167 - up .9
I'm okay with it too.
219. It's a Christmas miracle that I didn't gain 20 pounds. I'm still with family so we'll see.
145.5 - down 1.7 from last week. Hooray!!
I haven't been eating perfectly, but I make sure to get in a really good workout every day and it's definitely paying off.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!!
175. It is what it is...Maybe 2009 will be my year, 2008 has not been kind.
Okay, I am 160.6 so that is down 1.4 pounds from the very beginning. I am beginning to realize that I am just trying to maintain for this season of holiday gooey calorie laden goodness.
I can't tell for sure if I've maintain (4 lbs. loss total) or gained .5 from last week. Our scale is a dial kind and it's so hard to see for sure. Let's say I gained .5 (I did eat a lot of my hubby's peanut butter rice krispy treats but they're gone now - yeah, I ate the last one!)
Okay. My weight is now 143.4. (Which is about 2.2 pounds up from last week and 3 pounds gained overall.) But, I've started to make better food decisions--especially now that people have stopped bringing yummy treats right to our door! And I think some of it is PMS related. But I won't use that as an excuse.
I tromped around in the snow a lot on Monday and did some shoveling. So, I'm happy about those things.
Thanks for posting, Holly. I was missing you. Hope everyone had a good Christmas. :)
143 lbs. this is really becoming a joke at this point.

So glad I'm not the only one late to weigh in. I actually weighed myself this morning on my parent's scale and was up 1 pound from my initial weigh in:( I am, however, going to attribute the fatty gain to my proximity to the equator and a difference in altitude.... NOT the 18 Belgium chocolate covered cookies I ate yesterday. Unfortunately, I spent 14 hours in a car with 4 children under the age of 7 today.....one of whom was prone to bouts of car sickness:( I am sorry to post that in order to maintain a smidgen of sanity, I consumed a small amount of fast food and several handfuls of Christmas clearance M&Ms. And by "several" I mean "too many to count." Time to get my Hip Hop Abs shwerve on.
167.2- so, up from where I started, I think! DOAT!
Christmas was TASTY though.
202 OH FUDGE!!! (i mean that literally!)
152 thats up 2.5 from the beginning and 4.5 from last week so needless to say I was on the eliptical bright and early this a.m., now I'm off to another family supper.
157! And that's fully dressed...I can't walk around my parents house completely naked just to bed completely accurate. Though I did think about it...my clothes must weigh something.
154.9. That's up 0.8. I'm really really happy about this. I was careful with my food everyday (well, sorta careful) except Christmas, and I have to admit, I did not push myself as hard in my workouts, but I feel the results are appropriate consequences. I'm feeling great that it wasn't even a WHOLE pound! :D
It is a Christmas miracle, I maintained! Off to the exercise bike now...
I'm totally still in, but don't have access to a scale until I get back to work on Monday. So I will email my weight to you then.
183 which is up.....several. Weighing in was good though because it will be easier to get back on track after that harsh reality!
down .5. A small Christmas miracle!

198.7 It is what it is, I'm good with that, because not being good with it won't change it!
Thanks to everyone who has kept up with this. We've lost some of our numbers. I can't decide if I should go hunt people down or not. I'm kinda lazy.
I threw my scale down the basement stairs.
Seriously.
