Penultimate Weigh-in!

You know the drill--post 'em if you've got 'em. Also share with us something you learned this week.

I learned that bellydancing has almost nothing to do with the belly. Who knew!? Not I. All the motion comes from either your hips or your--get this--knees. Knees? Never would have guessed. But it's true. You only use your abdominals to keep your back straight and chest elevated (or as my teacher kept saying, "Boobies!"--and then she'd point both index fingers up--"To the ceiling!")(cannot wait to see what google hits we get for that).

139.6--I learned that I weigh less when I wisely eat fruit (earlier in the week), instead of foolishly snarfing on candy (last night). :)

Yesterday I was 185, but I think that was leftover from the vomiting/dehydration/migraine fest of Tuesday.

I'll take healthy.

147.8 - Down 2.2 lbs from last week. Hooray! Yes, I'm only down 1.7 lbs from the beginning of this contest, but isn't that better than gaining the typical 5-50 lbs. over the holidays??

Anyway, this week I learned that writing down every single solitary thing I eat and drink helps a LOT. I was still over my WW points range every stinkin' day, but it was much less than it would have been.

I've learned that someone who calls herself a "friend", and yet proceeds to surprise you with a gorgeous birthday cake and a 2.5 pound box of chocolates the day after learning that you've lost 6 pounds is not a friend after all. Happy birthday to me! Guess what I got? A 2.5 pound weight gain! (Isn't that how much that box of chocolates weighed?)

So now I'm only down 3.5 from the start:(

149...well, I'm back where I started from. I guess there is something to be said for that.

I learned that a bizarrely amazing array of people from your past show up on Facebook. That really doesn't have anything to do with dieting, but useful information just the same.

Still only down 2 from the beginning, despite exercising and mostly healthy eating. I'm wondering if I'm pregnant?!

I am at 293.5. Down a total of 6.5 lbs from the start. That is good for me though! I appreciate the fact that I haven't seen that nasty 300 lbs come up again!

154.2. That's up 0.4 pounds from last week, though it could be that I weighed just after lunch...I don't really know.

I learned that sometimes you just need a cheeseburger, or your favorite snack, and it's okay--occasionally--just not all the time.

Down 1 this week, for a total loss of 5.5 :)

I tried belly dancing when I was 18 (I think) and it was so hard for me to get the coordination.

138... good thing I weigh myself in the morning, because I've eaten every thing in sight today!

What I learned this week, is that it is entirely possible to suffer from French Fries Withdrawal. It's a horrible feeling!

I think that's down, but not by much. Maybe 1/2 pound?

What did I learn this week?
I stress eat more than I admit. If I gave up sugar I'd be skinny. I don't like being in my 40's all that much.

176 this week. I have learned that I need to make a change to be able to reach my goal. WW here I come...again.

Sorry, I have been lurking from afar and not posting. 191.7, down 6.3 total and happy about that. Except with my daughter heading to Paris tomorrow, we did dinner out Saturday, big family dinner last night and Dinner at Cheesecake Factory tonight...AAAHHHH!
